Covid-19 Pandemic has resulted in a significant use of human life around the world and it poses an unparalleled threat public health, for all systems and the workplace. COVID-19 Vaccine is a helpful tool to reduce the spread of the disease in communities. Yet some people who possess incorrect knowledge that distorts their perceived risk of vaccination and weakens their trust in vaccinations which leads to people who are vaccine hesitant have strong side effect fears. COVID-19 vaccines are safe and getting vaccinated will help you protect against developing severe COVID-19 disease and dying from COVID-19.

According to the new data, 36% of people believe that COVID-19 vaccine will create side effects that are worse than COVID – itself. The common reason why people don’t want to get vaccinated is because of misinformation and the perception that adjuvants are foreign elements, such as aluminium, feed the mistrust of the population which leads to vaccination rejection simply because they do not understand how it works.

All vaccines could cause some degree of reaction and the same is true for COVID-19 vaccines. Post-vaccine symptoms are typically mild and resolve quickly without the need of use any medication. Common COVID-19 vaccine side effects are redness or soreness at injection site, muscle aches, fatigues, headaches, fever or chills. When we get vaccinated for COVID-19, we often experience some side effects, the reason that we get side effects is that our immune system is reviving up and reacting which give us these general symptoms like fever, body-aches and headache.

Vaccines are designed to give you immunity without the dangers of getting disease. It’s common to experience some mild-to-moderate side effects when receiving vaccination. This is because your immune system is instructing your body to react in certain ways: it increases blood flow so more immune cells can circulate and it rises your body temperature in order to kill the virus.

Indeed, COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. It may have side effects after vaccination, but these are normal. Being vaccinated can protect not only against disease but also against infection and transmission.  These will be ready to fight the virus if you are exposed.
