God’s Unfailing Love

Every 14th of February, Valentine's Day is commemorated. Expensive gifts are exchanged on this day. Dates that are prohibitively costly have been set. For lovers, it is a beautiful and unforgettable day. It's also a good time to express your love for those you care for, always without sin and in a way that pleases God.

Valentine’s Day is a day for loving. Loving means sharing. Valentine’s Day is a day for sharing our care with our loved ones, friends, enemies or foes. God’s lowest brethren and others. It is not necessary that we spend a big amount of money to show that we care. It is not appropriate to invest a large sum of money to express our care. Small meaningful acts performed for our loved ones would certainly be cherished. Although the gratitude may not be spontaneous, it will be remembered with thanks sooner or later. We are persuaded that a world devoid of true love is a world without meaning. Genuine love from all corners of the globe is needed to heal the world's wounds.

Valentine's Day still teaches us the importance of self-sacrifice. It's about nourishing our families and fostering the giving, sharing, and sacrificing spirit. We must be able to make important sacrifices in life, just as Jesus Christ did by laying down his life for us to receive salvation. But, most significantly, the celebration of Valentine's Day could bring us closer to the root of true love, Jesus Christ. The Church is offended when secularism appears to trivialize such a significant occurrence that should bring humanity great joy.

How deep is it, and does it appear in the Bible? There are no words, in my view, that accurately convey God's love for himself and others. He sent one of his children to die on the cross for our sins; someone who would do such a thing, in my view, has unconditional love for others.

Throughout the Bible, it is repeatedly stated that God's love is divine and unconditional. For if more were aware of His great love, more would be filled with His peace, joy and power to overcome sin! Yet knowing the sin in their lives, millions conclude that a holy God could never love them, much less forgive them. But nothing could be farther from the truth.

We we’re made by God. He adores us and need us and strengthens us and protects us and loves us. Nothing can detach us from God's love; he cares deeply for us and will never leave us. His love for you is unwavering, everlasting, unconditional, and unending. His love has never let us down and will never let us down. God's love has saved us and will continue to save us; His love is sincere and unchanging.

We are taught that love one another, for our love comes from God himself. If you have love then you know God and them who don't have love doesn't know God. Even though we have never seen God with our eyes, in our hearts we will see him by loving one another. Our love should be whole for the love he has for us is whole. In 1 Corinthians 13, Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. This is true when God created heavens and earth. If the love wasn't strong when it came time for the heavens and earth to be created he could of created a earth that was unholy and nothing but evil, but in this process Love was the main focus that God used.

“God’s unfailing love for us is an objective fact affirmed over and over in the Scriptures. It is true whether we believe it or not. Our doubts do not destroy God’s love, nor does our faith create it. It originates in the very nature of God, who is love, and it flows to us through our union with His beloved Son” (Jerry Bridges)

All throughout the Bible when it references about His love,it's always mentions God'sunfailing love.” The definition of the word unfailing means: everlasting, constant, does not disappoint, always able to supply more, incapable of error, endless, infinity and greatest of all. No one can satisfy the love that we are finding here in earth for a long time but only in God’s unfailing love we can experience that extraordinary and unending love from Him for God's love is the greatest love of all.
